while flipping through the pages with the remote i was amused to see a link to two articles at michael moore’s site– i had heard the report last night and thought that no one could be as cynical as me, but sure enough, it appears that someone at michael’s site is–
the first link “war is over” connects to an article by andrew gray
the second link “waterboarded” connects to an article by Brian Ross and Luis Martinez of ABC news–

war is over??? hell, that’s the first thing that i thought when i heard this wonderful news– if this guy was responsible for everything then why are we even wasting time looking for osama? or maybe i should say why are we wasting time complaining that we are not looking for osama? there’s no need anymore!!! such wonderful news!!!

the second thing which my warped mind thought of was waterboarding– probably goes to reason that khalid was doing a little surfing– but hell, look at all the things that he “confessed” to– bastard deserved a little drink!!! thank god that we caught him and that we have true americans that are willing to suffer the injustice of having to use such treatment on another human being–

one other thing — what is the fascination of the media with the picture of this guy looking like a slob? who the hell wants to see that? looks like a mechanic or someone working on a road crew at the end of a long day– we all look like this from time to time, but would we post pictures like this on the web? are we using this picture just to bust his ass?
