blog for bill

an interesting article at media matters about bill o’reilly

the headline to the article–

“O’Reilly accused the ‘heavily liberal’ media of ‘looking to undermine’ the Bush Administration ‘for their own ideological purposes’”

wait a minute here . . . are those dastardly liberals at it again??? just what might some of the ideological purposes be??? maybe peace??? maybe lowering the death rate of our troops??? maybe getting our troops the hell out of a country that we have no right to be in??? yup, those conniving liberals are at it again– wow, bill– your smart– how long did it take you to figure all of that out???

and bill has the lack of balls to whine foul play that some of the media might in fact lean to the left??? don’t worry bill, you and michael savage, rush limbaugh, chris matthews, pat robertson, brit hume, sean hannity, glenn beck, john gibson, pat buchanan, newt gingrich, jerry falwell and ann coulter more then make up the difference for the reactionary right– and as long as you and your kind are spewing your stench all over the place, you should be just fine– so relax, hey why don’t you try to talk about something else besides the liberals for once??? maybe different games to play on the phone??? your next segment could be “hot calls and hangups/ is keith olbermann bill’s only hang-up???” — the truth that lurks inside bill o’reilly’s phone”

nancy drew

as i stated in a previous post i live in a rural area where we still can’t get cable . . . we recently got satelitte– i am tv illiterate–

okay, i was a little familiar with cnn back in the early 90’s but where the hell did this lady come from– is she doing a little coke or does she have a meth lab under her desk– intense is a mild word for this one– and you can tell that she really cares about every story that she is covering– uh-huh . . . well, thank god she’s out there– after all, she is doing her part to keep america secure– give her a badge and maybe a gun– damn-it she’s pissed and she means business–

i flipped on the channel and although i would normally switch nancy right off, the story she was covering definitely peaked my curiousity– god forbid that something really happened to them, but i couldn’t help thinking along with nancy’s concern– a whole family– missing– something horrible could have happened– two young children– two young parents– missing??? dead??? did charlie get out and take them down the coast??? did kiddi-porn trafficers kill the parents and take the kids??? the possibilities in nancy’s world are endless???

let me repeat, god forbid that something really happened to the family but can you imagine someone notifying nancy drew that you were missing when you were really just trying to take some down time– you know, a couple of weeks off in the shuffle wing– this lady should work for the nsa– she could listen to anyones phone conversation and honestly think she has the right to do so– or maybe just convince others that she does–

with democracy

we’ve been fighting a war now for five years

since the world trade center was dropped down to the streets

as we watched our eyes showed the horror

and our tears fell within democracy

our leaders they rallied together

and the whole world prayed with us down upon their knees

king george he said we’d get osama bin laden

and we’d pull through with democracy

our troops they went to the country afghanistan

to clear the camps where osama’s soldiers did meet

we chased the taliban round and round the whole mountainside

and installed the puppet karzai with democracy

king george he said that there was an evil axis

iran, iraq and north korea they were the three

and he said that iraq they had wmd’s

and they threatened our democracy

so we took a detour to iraq to kick saddams ass

we napalmed children who fell and died in the streets

and though we didn’t ever find any wmd’s

we were killing for democracy

now our children are all fighting in iraq

and george has forgotten the 9/11 families

and he can’t speak to a fallen soldiers mother

a soldier who was fighting for democracy

how can it be that bush lies to you all the time

yet you trust him with your liberties

as he sends all your children to slaughter

and he says it’s for democracy

could it be that you are to proud of your country

and your eyes they are to blind to see

as we torture and maim and kill muslims

and george says it’s for democracy

and now they listen to your phone calls day and night

and they watch all your online activity

soon they will take you away in the dead of night

and george will say it’s for democracy

Woman is the nigger of the world

Yes she is . . . think about it

Woman is the nigger of the world

Think about it . . . do something about it.

John Lennon

i found the above graphic at a blog that i have really come to enjoy, the psychotic patriot the graphic comes by way of feministing.com who picked it up in the comment section of daily kos the comment is posted by EKO– i am not sure if EKO is the creator of the graphic– but it is unfortunately straight to the point— the psychotic patriot has been doing excellent exposure of many feminist/ human issues concerning women– stop over to his site and expand your mind a little–

we are now entering . . . the twilight zone

a clip and more about a real fun guy from south dakota who happens to be a state senator can be found at crooks and liars

BILL NAPOLI: A real-life description to me would be a rape victim,
brutally raped, savaged. The girl was a virgin. She was religious. She
planned on saving her virginity until she was married. She was
brutalized and raped, sodomized as bad as you can possibly make it, and
is impregnated. I mean, that girl could be so messed up, physically and
psychologically, that carrying that child could very well threaten her
life.

and a good story by molly ivins about bill at cnn

where do they get these people? is this the twilight zone???

the fox network

i’ve been away a for a little bit– had to deal with life in the physical world–

looking at the past, i believe that i must have been asleep in the nineties– for most of the nineties i was pursuing a college degree, coping with a dysfunctional life and then after serious re-grouping and re-shuffling, embarking on a new path and new life– in many ways i look back on the nineties as my shaved head years– bald? shit, shave your head, it takes years off your appearance and as telly would say– “who loves ya baby?” as the years went by i realized that more and more guys were shaving there heads and i slowly began to realize that what we were in fact doing was attempting to be relevant in a time when we were in fact no longer relevant at all– nowadays i prefer the ben franklin look and i have taken my peace signs and freak flag out of the cedar chest and hung them back up to weather out the rest of the storm– they will never be put away again . . .

tv was never a big deal to me while I was growing up, and the three major networks and a couple of uhf channels including pbs was enough for me– in new york, out in the sticks we couldn’t get cable (we still can’t) we just got satellite in the past year– when I moved to the great state of new york in the early eighties cable was just coming out and although I was aware of it, it was something that I really didn’t pay attention to– i thought the weather channel was pretty good, and i was definitely one that could sit and watch the headline news for three hours straight– i’ve only recently realized that i am often watching the same thing recorded earlier– so it is with this tv ignorance that the following is written–

you know what i don’t get . . . what i don’t understand? fox, a network which started on 10/09/86– why is so much attention given to the fox network? does anyone really believe what fox news tells us? with folks like brit hume? how can anyone take this network seriously? i know they have had great ratings in the past, but do americans really take what they dish out as real news, fair and balanced? for gods’ sake, wake up folks, this is the station that gave america “the simpsons,” and “married with children”– i know it’s prejudiced of me, but i always thought of the fox network as the network for the mentally challenged viewer– nothing complicated, just basic simple entertainment that your average working folks could handle after they had had a couple of beers and couldn’t expand, nor want to expand, their minds to do any mental jumping jacks or pull-ups– yes, i guess to be fair, fox news would have been great during my using years– i mean, just imagine the o.j. car chase–

“wow, man they’re still chasing o.j., far out– hey, let’s do another joint while they chase him for another hour–”

and someone cares what bill o’reilly thinks??? you know, to me, bill is a perfect choice for a six-packer– this man is a meatball who could definitely use some speech courses so he doesn’t sound like he came fresh from the hood– just picture quaffing a few brewskis while watching billy-boy–

“dat’s it billy, you’re da man!!! send da security boys to kick deir butts, dat’ll teach dose commies a lesson– hey bitch!!! get me a nudder beer!!! now!!!”

i recently heard that the fox ratings were down a bit– well with homer o’reilly and a pro-bush squad of ass-kissers who would be surprised? i mean, face it– folks like hannity, gibson, hume and o’reilly are all the types of guys who probably were treated as social losers during the late seventies and the eighties– face it– and here’s the crude part– they’re gonna suck that tit (edited by author) as long and as hard as they can– going back to their pre-fox days is probably a scary thought to these fools and to do so would mean having to face their relevance to current times–

relevance, that reminds me– i’ll bet o’reilly starts shaving his head soon– unless of course he also has some peace signs hidden in his closet–
